Coqual invites your organization to share insights in a brief 5-10 minute survey on sponsorship programs—what’s working, what’s not, and how we can drive lasting impact. Survey responses will remain confidential, and we’ll share key findings and emerging themes with participants later this spring. This survey is part of Sponsorship Reimagined—Coqual’s innovative approach to building sustainable, scalable sponsorship programs. Early results have been promising, and we’re eager to share how these insights can transform your organization’s efforts. With Sponsorship Reimagined, we’re tackling what truly moves the needle: · Strengthening leadership pipelines? · Expanding sponsorship beyond a select few? · Creating real accountability? · Including often-overlooked groups (like blue-collar workers, field employees, and support staff)? · Ensuring engagement remains strong even after formal programs end? Your input will help shape best practices and drive meaningful change. We’d love for you to participate: https://lnkd.in/eSTt_HTS Survey closes on Friday, April 4, 2025.

LGBTQ+ professionals don’t just seek safer places to live—they seek safer places to work. Coqual’s newest report, Pride Under Pressure: Charting a Course for Global LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion, reveals that anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination heavily influences employment decisions. Many LGBTQ+ professionals migrate to countries and cities where they can be safe—and they are equally discerning about their employers. As one lesbian professional in South Africa shared: “Whenever companies tend to isolate themselves from celebrating or embracing Pride Month, then I know this is a company that I might not be so comfortable working for.” This insight underscores a critical truth: Surface-level gestures aren’t enough. LGBTQ+ professionals are paying attention—seeking workplaces where they can feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. It’s time for organizations to go beyond performative allyship and commit to meaningful, lasting inclusion. Is your organization ready to lead with action? Coqual is proud to champion inclusion by empowering companies to create diverse workplaces where everyone belongs. Reach out to [email protected] on ways your organization can lead with action today. #CoqualResearch #CoqualResearch2025 #PrideUnderPressure #DEI?

In the piece, she emphasizes a fundamental truth,?“Diversity is about how do I make sure my policies and practices are opening doors (for people) and not closing them. Yet, as pushback against DEIB grows, leaders face tough choices about the path ahead. The truth? This work isn’t disappearing—it’s evolving. In Coqual's research?Challenging Norms: A Global Analysis of Gender at Work, we found that full-time working women, from the US to India, still do a significantly greater share of childcare and housework than men. This exacts a wide-reaching toll on women's well-being, which can compound at intersections of race, class, caste, and beyond. For over 100 years International Women's Day has been championing equality and achievement for women across the globe, while raising awareness about discrimination. Many of the issues that encouraged this movement are still impacting women's advancement. Together, we can Accelerate Action for gender equality- really embracing this year's theme. Every day, but especially on International Women's Day, let's join in solidarity to emphasize the steps all of us can take to address the systemic barriers and biases that women face both in and out of the workplace.?#IWD2025
