The Job: Full-time M-F 7 am-5 pm, consisting of various labor-related tasks including, but not limited to, excavation, hand-digging with a shovel, utility exploration, utility connections, concrete prep and formwork, backfill, compaction, finish grading, care and maintenance of tools, and project clean-up. Looking back on some early mornings on the Somers Island project surrounded by Flathead Lake last summer. To ensure a smooth operation, the barge trips had to be early, efficient, and on time. Our excavators, skid steers, and cement trucks needed to swiftly board and unload to avoid high winds and waves in the afternoon. This meant that the logistics had to be done quickly with little error. Flexibility is key in this industry, but hauling equipment to the job site over the lake was a new experience for us. Challenges like this push us to grow as a team, and we feel grateful for every unique opportunity.? Copperforge Underground
