Time off for volunteering? Yes! It’s just one way we support our employees and give back to our communities. ? Yesterday, Susie Sigman, part of Copic’s communications team, spent the day at Jewish Family Service of Colorado, a safety net organization that serves the Denver community, distributing hundreds of turkeys, gift cards, and boxes with all the Thanksgiving fixings to people who need support. In her words, “It was so fulfilling and people were so appreciative to receive the food. I really appreciated being able to take time away from work to help out in a meaningful way.” ? You can watch the Channel 7 story that aired 11/21: https://lnkd.in/gMaBdbvY.

The Iowa Healthcare Collaborative (IHC) works with hospitals and communities to improve health outcomes for patients and families. Copic recently attended IHC’s Patient Safety Conference, where presenters shared best practices and innovations in healthcare quality and safety. We were proud to sponsor lunch at this event, which allowed attendees to bring a patient, advisor, or patient and family advisory council member for free with each paid registration, fostering inclusive conversations on these important topics.

Meredith Hintze, Executive Director of Copic Medical Foundation, along with her co-presenters, Liz Gardner from DaVita Kidney Care and DJ Close from Delta Dental of Colorado presented at the #BCivicSummit yesterday. Their presentation, “Corporate Foundations: Expanding the Horizon of Corporate Philanthropy,” aligned with B:Civic’s aim to empower organizations and their people to build stronger communities. We’re proud to sponsor the event made possible by the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation.

Copic was a proud sponsor of the 2024 Saints Ball last Friday in Oklahoma City in support of SSM Health St. Anthony Foundation. It was a fantastic evening for an even better cause, with Senior Claims Consultant Ashley Childress joining in the fun.

Our Community Action Team hosted a two-part event to support one of our dearest partners, Every Child Pediatrics (ECP). We hosted a newborn supply drive to gather essentials such as food, clothing, and diapers and then gathered at ECP’s Thornton location to assemble 150 newborn supply kits . Many of the families supported by ECP lack basic resources, so these kits will give families the essentials they need to help their newborns thrive.
Thank you to our AMAZING partners at COPIC!! Their staff donated various supplies for our ECP Newborn Baby + Mom Kits. These Kits support new moms who enter our clinic under vulnerable situations. A nice welcome kit helps them get started with some essentials, and it’s a great method to engage our corporate partners with meaningful engagement. Thank you to the amazing team at COPIC for donating the supplies AND completing all the kits. Our Care Navigators will get these to moms at our clinics right away! Want to volunteer with ECP?
