Copeland, KCC partnership launches new era of dehumidification. Copeland is excited to partner with KCC Companies to support the development of a new commercial dedicated outdoor air system #DOAS. This project features Copeland's new HMX liquid desiccant module, a breakthrough #dehumidification technology designed to enhance comfort, efficiency, reliability, and indoor air quality. Copeland’s innovative HMX technology is based on a closed-loop liquid desiccant system. This scalable and modular, revolutionary approach is optimized for humidity control and delivers efficiencies well above current industry minimum standards. With this partnership, KCC is leveraging Copeland-led research and development, innovation, and reliability to become leaders in HMX liquid desiccant technology. Copeland has partnered with EUROKLIMAT to deliver an advanced ultra-low temperature variable speed heat pump system at Zaozhuang Vocational College. Completed in 2024, this innovative system is designed to overcome challenges such as high humidity, low temperatures, and stringent energy efficiency requirements. Equipped with Copeland’s 25HP ultra-low temperature variable speed scroll compressors, the system delivers over 30% energy savings compared to traditional heating methods. As China accelerates its dual-carbon strategy and clean energy initiatives, this project demonstrates how next-generation heat pump technology can support the transition to a low-carbon, high-efficiency future for building climate control in Northern China.
