Every year, Cooley Dickinson serves more than 75,000 patients in its hospital and affiliated practices, logs over 50,000 home care visits through its VNA and Hospice program, and delivers on average over 600 babies at its award-winning Childbirth Center. Over 30,000 people visit its emergency room annually; over 65,000 undergo medical imaging exams; and laboratory technicians conduct more than 750,000 tests. The March for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts with Monte Belmonte raised over $575,000 - enough for 1.7 million meals! What an incredible effort by the Pioneer Valley community. #MarchForTheFoodBank
WOW! We can’t fully express our gratitude for the past two days. 15 years of marching, and this year’s outcome exceeded our wildest expectations. Many of you marched alongside the legendary Monte Belmonte, donated your time and energy—even in the cold rain—and many others contributed hard-earned money, all with one goal in mind: ensuring no one in Western Massachusetts goes without access to nutritious food. THANK YOU! Thanks to your incredible support, we’re excited to announce we’ve raised $575,000—enough to provide 1.7 million meals! In a time when the cost of living has soared, fresh meals and groceries are incredibly vital. A BIG round of applause to everyone who participated or contributed to this march! ???? And the sky’s the limit! We’re still accepting MFTFB donations through the end of the year, so let’s keep this momentum going! Who knows how far we can take this!
