On Friday, January 31, 2025, passersby may have noticed quite a bit of activity at the Cook Research Inc location in West Lafayette, IN. As part of our community partnerships with our local emergency response teams, the West Lafayette Fire Department utilized Hawkins Lake as their location for winter water rescue training. We were happy to be able to assist in these valuable training efforts and to continue to support our local community needs.??

We invite everyone out to see our "Bill Cook" inspired scarecrow at Prophetstown State Park's 15th Annual Trail of Scarecrows, Oct. 1 - Nov. 4. Team members did a great job of replicating the iconic photo from when the Cook legacy first began. Don't forget to vote, with proceeds benefiting the Interpretive Services Fund for Education, Arts, Cutlure, and History Programs at the park.
