关于我们
We are a small family owned coffee shop focused on creating an equitable profit share model with our employees while impacting our community by supporting non-violent felons as they re-enter society and programs designed to intervene with young people who are at risk to prevent them from entering the system. Our founder Dan spent several years in and out of incarceration between the ages of thirteen and twenty-two before his first child was born while he was in prison. Since then he has turned his life around and has over forty years experience in Hospitality leading brands like Applebee's, Logan's Roadhouse, Marie Callender's , Rock Bottom Brewery, Illegal Pete's and Cheba Hut to name a few. In almost every company we have seen that the front line employee is under-valued while the CEO and investors clean up on the backs of their hard work. We seek to create something better, something different where everyone wins.

Through our quarter for a quarter program we donate 25¢ for every drink sold at Convict Coffee Company. Last quarter with the help of Torani (R. Torre & Co.) matching our donation we were able to raise $6,000 for Redemption Road Fitness Foundation allowing them to expand their program into a 6th prison here in Colorado ?? Redemption Road Fitness Foundation does amazing work and has a less than 1 percent recidivism rate through their program truly showing that you can redeem yourself after getting out of prison. ?? Torani is a 100-year old, family-owned, b-corp company that reached out to us to see how they could help and we couldn’t be more excited to partner up with them. Torani is also doing incredible work creating first job opportunities through their newest Diamond syrup for opportunity youth, justice-impacted adults, and adults with intellectual disabilities. They continue to prioritize community through their growth as a company and we ask that you support companies that make an impact. ?? Convict Coffee Company is committed to making a difference especially when it comes to reducing crime and recidivism rates as well as having better industry practices. ??

Had a great conversation with Shannon at Heart of Parker Podcast. We are stoked on the support we have had in our first 9 months open, we are just getting started and plenty more good to do. Listen now here: https://lnkd.in/gEJGnkSr

We’re excited to share Dan’s story on Heart of Parker Podcast, available on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music: https://lnkd.in/gEJGnkSr For those of you who have heard some of Dan’s story, you know it’s one worth listening to—a story of resilience, strength, and transformation. Dan grew up in an unstable household, which led his life to be consumed by crime, addiction, and the prison system. His life took an unexpected turn which led him to lead some of America’s favorite restaurant brands. Now through Convict Coffee Company, he’s helping others transform in many of the ways he did.

Through immersive workshops and training, Realness Project empowers individuals in correctional facilities in Colorado to break cycles of violence, addiction, and incarceration, building safer, more connected communities. By cultivating authenticity and emotional intelligence, they inspire lasting change, both inside prison walls and beyond.

After years working for larger companies and fighting for pay equity this does not surprise me. At Convict we support the Starbucks workers…. When you give your CEO Brian Niccol an $85m package and promise a private jet to commute in you don’t deserve your people, pay them!

As you know at Convict we strive to choose the best partners to create the best products for you so you may be thinking why Torani (R. Torre & Co.) ? . At Convict we strive to partner with companies who are actively seeking to make positive change. When it came time to choose our partner for premium syrups the choice was easy. We are stoked to partner with Torani and are eager to announce some very exciting impactful programs coming soon!
