    Im very excited?to announce that Justin Schoen has joined Converseon as our new Director of Strategy & Customer Success. (Brief sidenote: We again thank Jane Quigley for her previous contributions in part of this role. Once a Converseonite - always one....) ?? Many of you in the industry know Justin already. His reputation proceeds himself. Until recently, he was Director of Social Intelligence Microsoft and brings to this position a powerful and rare combination of technical prowess together with deep insights/research skills, fluency in multiple platforms & technologies?and first hand experience on how to design, build, and expand a best of breed listening capability within a large, technically sophisticated organization.?? ? While there, he was responsible for leading and managing a team of researchers who worked on cutting-edge technologies and innovations designed to elevate #socialintelligence and, by extension, the broader industry. I was impressed with his team's work and their hands on approach, stress testing various solutions, embracing innovation and pushing the edges of the possible. I was also impressed by his thought leadership in the academic and industry communities by publishing papers and speaking. His contributions?to?the industry have?earned him a 3x The Social Intelligence Lab “Insider 50” and member of the Hall of Fame ? Throughout this process, justin and i bonded quickly over innovation and the vast potential the industry still has to rise to the next level through new AI powered technology, processes and solutions. His passion is palpable. At Converseon, Justin will harness this passion & experience to help our clients to maximize the value and impact of social (and related) intelligence. And the opportunities are vast.     Truth and accuracy in unstructured data has been our north star and guiding passion since we built our first machine learning model for natural language processing in 2008. Along the way we have pioneered new technologies and processes to do just that. And we're not done. But challenges remain. Data quality remains a primary complaint of practioners using this data. Sentiment analysis, for example, is very uneven - and rarely trusted - across the industry. So we are excited to announce today that our CEO Rob Key will be leading a new global workstream via AMEC Measurement and Evaluation and 7 other industry organizations ranging from ESOMAR to Insights Association to tackle this issue head on. Focus will be on education, setting benchmarks and standards, soliciting committment and otherwise addressing the substantial risks associated with poor data quality - including the impact on LLM and summerization.     Our CEO, Rob Key along with our great partner Angela Palladino at Walmart, led a session on the Data Quality Challenges in social data last week at the ?????????????? ?????????????#observesummit. We laid out an 8-step program designed to “fix” the pervasive accuracy issues in this unstructured data—beginning with “commitment.” New technologies and “trusted AI” approaches are now available to level up these capabilities so that we “get this right” and ensure our data is AI and research ready.
