Convergence Care was founded in 2021 with a specific purpose in mind “Redefining Catastrophic Care”. Our nearly 85 years of experience shared amongst our founding members told us that outcomes have become less of a priority in this industry. Convergence Care has set out to change the way payers, providers, and insurers view and handle claims. At Convergence Care we take a hands-on approach to every claim we handle, having a single point of contact from the start of the referral. Thus, allowing our coordinators access to all necessary documentation to determine the right plan of action. All while setting clear expectations with all parties involved. Convergence Care is based in Tucson, Arizona, providing services nationally for workers compensation. We provide a broad range of services including but not limited to; home health services, durable medical equipment and supplies to home and vehicle modifications. Convergence Care takes great pride in our network as we have taken a very strategic approach to ensure we have the right providers that understand our vision to provide the right care at the right time while driving down cost.

“I want to go home.” A critically important “want” of every person who sustains a catastrophic injury is to go home. That sentence is very often the first one spoken, mouthed, or written when communicating with just about anyone providing care and treatment. This always brings to light the responsibility we each hold, focusing on the outcome objective for each worker injured while working. Our mindset at Convergence Care, with ALL of us working collectively, is to do everything we can possibly do to help each worker reach that number one goal… to go home. We know “home” often includes the goal of going back to work, which is something to look forward to… getting back to what is a “normal” everyday life. The Goal We All Share Another goal that goes together with the other two is the want and the need of enjoying time with family and friends, living a healthy and happy social life, and having expectations of living the best life possible. That is what we all want for ourselves and for the people we care for and love. Customer Service Mindset: Treat Everyone Like a Client. We believe if our team members, colleagues, partners, and our clients are equally important in what we do at Convergence Care, and we recognize the importance in teamwork and collaboration, keeping the goal at the forefront of everything we do, Excellence in Customer Service is achieved and is a success for all of us working together for each injured worker for whom we all hold equal responsibility. Collaboration Mindset: We ALL Make a Difference. We believe Customer Service Excellence has the greatest impact in two specific areas. (1)?On each worker and his or her family.?Anxiety, fear, and dissatisfaction (when customer service is lacking) are significantly reduced when they have experienced successful collaboration when it comes to the care of each injured worker. (2)?Cost Containment. ?Costs are significantly contained when a managed care system is utilized with every physician, hospital, rehab, ancillary service provider, and person on board. Every person who sustains a catastrophic injury deserves Customer Service Excellence every day. It is taken very seriously by every person on our team and by every provider involved with each employee who is?entrusted to our care and management. With that said, below is OUR START on defining Catastrophic Injury as an educational tool, a description, and an explanation. ?????A Catastrophic Injury is a life-changing injury. It is not defined by the injury itself. It is defined by its physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and vocational impact on the human who suffers the injury, and to the family experiencing every single step and person involved. The full impact is not realized for weeks, months, and sometimes years…. ???We believe education and fully understanding all aspects of any catastrophic injury is critical, as is specialization in catastrophic injury care, and in everything related to whatever each human needs to live as independently as possible.??
