The State of Colorado hosted an #EnergyResilience and #NationalSecurity webinar highlighting areas of collaboration between the state’s agencies and the United States Department of Defense (DoD) to decarbonize and increase the resilience of Colorado’s #militaryinstallations. Why It Matters. This joint session demonstrated how states and the DoD can engage about resilience to ensure #missionassurance across its installations in an increasingly versatile threat landscape. ?? Our Appreciation. 70+ people attended the event with a diverse group of organizations including: Lt. Gov. Dianne Primavera; Rebecca Isacowitz, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy Resilience and Optimization; seven State of Colorado agencies covering #energy, economic development, and emergency preparedness/response; multiple Chambers of Commerce, and several Mayoral offices. ?? What’s Next. Colorado’s agencies are focused on how their programs can incorporate eligibility and criteria for #energyresilience projects supporting #nationalsecurity.
