Contentnea Health CEO Melissa Torres, right, Pitt County Schools Superintendent Dr. Steve Lassiter Jr., Interim Executive Director of Student Services Sara English, and Contentnea Health and Pitt County Schools staff marked the official opening of J.H. Rose Student Health Services during a ribbon cutting this morning. In her remarks, Mrs. Torres noted that the health center represents more than a new facility. "This health center is a testament to what is possible when a community comes together to support the physical and mental health of its young people," she said. "By providing accessible, high-quality healthcare services on school grounds, we are helping to ensure our students have the resources they need to stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn."
