Families For Justice As Healing is leading the fight to stop the construction of a new women’s prison and instead redirect $50 million into housing, healthcare, and community support. Right now, our prison system is at only 60% capacity, and the majority of incarcerated women are criminalized survivors who need care, not cages. We know that incarceration doesn’t create safety—strong communities do. This Women’s History Month, let’s uplift the leadership of directly impacted women fighting for a future without prisons. Join the movement at justiceashealing.org #NoNewWomensPrison #InvestInCommunities #WomensHistoryMonth
