It was a pleasure to connect with the French companies present at the 2024 PLMA in Chicago during the networking event organized by Business France and French-American Chamber of Commerce Chicago. This year, 13 French companies took part in the PLMA - Private Label Manufacturers Association show, presenting the diversity of the French food industry under the?Taste France?Pavilion organized by Business France Agribusiness – North America. The Pavilion not only showcased the latest trends but also highlighted the quality and craftsmanship that define French food. Congratulations to Geoffrey Ruiz, Director of the Learning Center of the Alliance Fran?aise de Chicago who has been named Chevalier (Knight) of the Ordre des Palmes Academics for his dedication to promoting la #Francophonie. Thanks to his creative and innovative skills, he has been key to creating new programs and immersive experiences, and re-inventing learning methods and novel communications ways. The synergies he has developed beyond the walls of the Alliance (Chicago Public Schools, Universities' French departments...), have a real impact on the Francophone and Francophile community in Chicago, and we look forward to celebrating future successes and reinforcing our partnership with the Alliance Fran?aise.
