On Tuesday in Milwaukee, we celebrated the opening of a new branch of the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) in the Midwest. This milestone not only marks a significant achievement for the FACC, but also strengthens the ties between France, this vibrant city, and the great State of Wisconsin. As part of a global community, we recognize that partnerships and collaboration are more essential than ever. The opening of the new FACC branch is a testament to our commitment to be part of Wisconsin’s dynamic business ecosystem. It will create new opportunities for French and American companies across key industries—whether in manufacturing, tech, agriculture, or beyond—fostering mutual growth. Congratulations to Geoffrey Ruiz, Director of the Learning Center of the Alliance Fran?aise de Chicago who has been named Chevalier (Knight) of the Ordre des Palmes Academics for his dedication to promoting la #Francophonie. Thanks to his creative and innovative skills, he has been key to creating new programs and immersive experiences, and re-inventing learning methods and novel communications ways. The synergies he has developed beyond the walls of the Alliance (Chicago Public Schools, Universities' French departments...), have a real impact on the Francophone and Francophile community in Chicago, and we look forward to celebrating future successes and reinforcing our partnership with the Alliance Fran?aise.
