Starting off 2025 right - we're open!!! We had a busy 2024 in Williamsburg, VA renovating the latest project the Rochambeau Roadside Inn, a 22-room limited service boutique hotel we are self-managing. The vision began in 2022 when I first got the property under contract. We finally acquired it in January 2024, began construction in April, and were issued our Certificate of Occupancy in December for Phase I (11 rooms & new front lobby). This was a near complete rebuild of a 1954 motor lodge. Jumping into my first hospitality development has been an absolute rollercoaster. To see the vision come full circle with our first few guests experiencing the property has been incredibly rewarding and excited for what's to come! We're excited to showcase our progress on the Solstice Condos project in Ocean View! ?? This project is an 8-unit remediation & renovation project, refreshing exteriors and completely transforming interiors. A highlight from this project is the replacement of a narrow spiral stairwell with a full-sized staircase, opening up the accessibility of the lofts. ?? We've begun the design and renovation of 66 beautiful apartments in Portsmouth's Old Towne neighborhood! This project is comprised of 4 buildings and numerous unit layouts, all in Portsmouth's most historic district. Originally intended to be parking, we we're challenged mid-construction to work this space at The Gardens into an attractive amenity. Our design team put this concept together in less than one week! Check out our latest project completion in Ocean View! ABOUT: Sherwood Flats is a newly renovated 46-unit apartment building, originally constructed in 1948. The three floors of this timeless property feature various floor plans, ranging from studio to spacious 1 bed / 1 bath layouts. PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: This project required hefty electrical rework and remediation. This resulted in unplanned vacancies, but we worked hard to move this project along. DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS: The decorative transformation of a decommissioned elevator (See green door-frame) was a creative touch put together by our own Evan Kim (Interior Design) and Lucas at Arrowhead Signs and Fabrication! We also enjoyed preserving hardwood floor and arched entryway's that give this building a tastefully vintage feel.
