We had a great time at the Texas Department of Transportation's Construction Career Day! At the Sundt booth, students were able to test their skills on a mini excavator and learn how the Magni rotary telehandler operates. Construction Career Day is an event designed to provide students a chance to experience the construction industry through interactive learning labs and equipment demonstrations. One of the many reasons I adore my job even more is because on Tuesday, I had the privilege of spending time with 600 students from the DFW area at the Youth Construction Career Day put on with TxDOT Civil Rights Connect2Jobs, Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas, and Texas State Fair. It was inspiring to witness their enthusiasm as they engaged with current construction employers and had the chance to test out equipment.
