The first CCLE conference took place over 25 years ago. But the CCLE has become more than a conference. We have added events such as practicums and symposiums, started new programs, developed new online resources, and published new books and journals. We have provided hundreds of hours of free consultation to school startups and those new to classical Lutheran education. The CCLE continues to offer teacher certification and school accreditation to a growing number of individuals and institutions. This year's CCLE fall symposium at Our Savior Lutheran Church & School, Grand Rapids, was attended by over 130 people who came together to learn about and discuss classical Lutheran education. We enjoyed presentations by Dr. Geoffrey Boyle (Concordia Theological Seminary—Fort Wayne), Mrs. Katie Schuermann (pastor's wife and author), Mr. Nathaniel Pullmann (Redeemer Classical School, Fort Wayne), and Mrs. Mollie Hemmingway (The Federalist, Fox News contributor). Rev. Stuckwisch (District President, Indiana) gave an exceptional sermon. Thank you to Mrs. Julia Habrecht for coordinating and Rev. Swem (Senior Pastor, Our Savior Lutheran Church) for hosting us! #ccle #classicallutheraneducation

Registration is now open for Greek and Latin classes with the Institute for Classical Lutheran Education. Classes will be taught through the CCLE’s new online learning management system. Live and recorded classes, quizzes, and interactive assignments to reinforce learning will be included. Classes are capped, so space is limited. Register now to secure your spot! Calling all Lutheran educators, pastors, administrators, and homeschoolers! The Consortium for Classical Lutheran Education (CCLE) is planning our 25th summer conference to be held at Concordia University, Wisconsin on July 15-18, 2025. This milestone event will be both a time of celebration and a time to look forward with hope in Christ! The CCLE XXV conference committee invites presentation proposals for consideration. Speaker opportunities are limited, so be sure to submit your proposal by December 31, 2024. Presentations do not necessarily need to relate directly to this year’s theme, but should fit under one or more of the following headings: teaching the faith, teaching the classical liberal arts, administration, classroom management, culture, curriculum, beauty and aesthetics of a classical Lutheran school, classical pedagogy, classical Lutheran homeschooling, higher education or Lutheran theology in classical Lutheran education. Please submit presentation proposals to Anna Martin at [email protected] by December 31, 2024. A short synopsis of your talk (200-300 words) and a brief bio should be included. Conference registration for selected speakers will open in February and general registration will open in March. #ccle #cclexxv

The Board of Scholars is an honorary, non-governing body which has been formed in order to solidify partnerships for furtherance of the CCLE mission. Membership to the Board of Scholars is awarded to recognize those who have made noteworthy contributions to, and scholarly achievements in, classical Lutheran education. Several of these individuals attended our 2024 summer conference. The Board of Scholars serves both to generate awareness of these achievements and to promote the work of the CCLE through formal affiliations with like-minded scholars. Through this means, the CCLE seeks to strengthen a network of mutual support for the sake of classical Lutheran education. #ccle #classicallutheraneducation
