This weekend, we’re celebrating 23 years of impact, compassion, and community! It all started 23 years ago with our very first Art That Feeds Food Drive—a 3-night run with The String Cheese Incident at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver. ?? The SCI community showed up big time, and with Michael Everett’s stunning poster as a thank-you, fans donated 4,000 pounds of food. Our founders then drove it to Pine Ridge Reservation, where we’ve since built a lasting relationship with the Lakota community. What began with cans at food drives has grown into semi-trucks of donations, and together, we’ve now distributed 17,997,398 meals to families across the country. None of this would be possible without our incredible ALLIANCE—bands, brands, artists, and fans who believe in the power of music and giving back. Huge shoutout to our friends at Jennie-O Turkey Store this National Poultry Day! ???? Their generosity helped us make history with our largest one-time food donation ever—1 MILLION pounds of turkey distributed across 13 states, including 6 Native American reservations. Thanks to their commitment to fighting hunger, countless families enjoyed nutritious meals at their tables.
