Rooted in the philosophy of "Ubuntu," which means "I am because we are," the class celebrates interconnectedness, shared humanity, and the spirit of unity. What to Expect: Enjoy a vibrant mix of dance, body movement, and stretches that get your heart rate up, engage your muscles, and leave you sweating with joy. This fun-filled class combines energetic rhythms, mindful moments, and a welcoming community atmosphere, ensuring a workout that strengthens your body, uplifts your spirit, and connects you with others. This class is open to everyone and rooted in Afro Yoga practices and led by our BIPOC community. It creates a space that intentionally centers BIPOC teachers as leaders. This approach addresses systemic inequities where leadership and influence have historically been disproportionately distributed. Facilitated by Nuna G. She is dedicated to advocacy and shifting perspectives on how stories are told by providing platforms for the oppressed and sharing narratives of resilience and beauty emerging from seemingly broken situations.?She brings an open heart to this work as she continues her exploration of mindfulness.

Conscious Revolution is hosting a virtual open house for individuals to learn more about our upcoming offering, Seeing White: Foundations for White Women, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 7:00?PM-8:00?PM?ET. Read more below and register here: https://lnkd.in/ecdrwViJ Conscious Revolution’s Seeing White: Foundations for White Women is a 9-week community cohort designed for individuals identifying as White women. Participants will develop a structural analysis of race, while conditioning the mind and body to further commit to racial equity. We’ll examine White women’s alignment with power structures that perpetuate patriarchy and racism, from slavery to the meme Karen. Foundations offers a unique exploration into the role and opportunity for White women to contribute to building anti-racist organizations and solidarity movements. Conscious Revolution is offering White Women Foundations as a complement to White Men for Racial Justice’s Seeing White: WMRJ Foundations 101 cohort offering.? WMRJ and Conscious Revolution have been partnering together to bring this program to individuals identifying as White women.?

Conflict is inevitable, but what if we could approach it differently? Instead of shrinking, avoiding, or overreacting, we can explore new techniques inspired by clowning—creativity, play, and openness—to reimagine how we engage with tension. A?Clown’s Guide to Conflict?is an experimental workshop that blends clowning principles with proven conflict transformation strategies. But Tanya Markul’s words challenge us to reconsider: “Truth keeps me real, even if it makes everyone in the room uncomfortable. And Truth, unlike Good, doesn’t let me bow down to anything.” Truth asks more of us than "Good" ever could. It calls us to be bold, authentic, and willing to face discomfort. While "Good" may guide us to avoid disruption, Truth reminds us that growth often requires fire. It clears the way for what is real and meaningful, even when that path feels uncertain or hard. Truth also teaches us to honor our own voice. As leaders, we hold space for the stories and needs of others, but Truth ensures we don’t lose ourselves in the process. It gives us the strength to set boundaries, reject fear-based criticism, and act with integrity—even when it’s not the easiest choice. This week, consider how Truth shapes your leadership: ?? Are you staying true to yourself, even when it feels uncomfortable? ?? Do you make decisions rooted in honesty, rather than avoiding conflict? ?? How can you model authenticity for those around you? Leadership anchored in Truth is powerful. It’s not about perfection—it’s about being real, resilient, and courageous enough to choose what matters most.
