?? ?????? ?????????????????? ???? ?????????? As someone that has made a career in Biz Development and Financial Analysis, I like to believe I can spot an opportunity when I see one. And, some of you will know I recently took on my latest venture, alongside Enrique Gracia, as Co-Founder and COO of Conquer Padel and COO of Conquer Franchise Group. ? Why? Because with Padel, there's a big opportunity in the United States. Not only are we predicted to reach 10m players in America by 2030, our nation's? love of racquet sports is well documented. I've spent years witnessing and enjoying pickleball's growth, and I see the same coming with padel, too. ?? I see it from an investment perspective, a real estate angle, and a pure passion for the sport angle, too. As someone that has loved being a pickleball instructor these past years, I see and feel the appeal of the sport. And having been exposed to padel, I see its appeal, too. In a big way because: it's easy to pick up but hard to master, it's sociable (needing four players on court instantly makes this about team interaction) and it's sociable off the court, too. Once a player steps onto a padel court for the first time, they come back again and again, which is why I'm bullish about the prospects of this sport in the U.S. And it's why I've gone all in on Conquer Padel. ???? With some big announcements coming up in the coming weeks, I'll be focussed on driving forwards the group's operational strategy, finding us new sites (alongside our soon to open Tempe club, we already have some great sites in the works in the Phoenix area, plus Atlanta, Salt Lake City and California, too). ?? And something I'm particularly bullish about is our industry first Franchise Model. Something that I feel will be transformative for our sport. On December 7, 2024, Barry cycled through Amelia Island, FL, raising funds and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) research.
