The 2007 NCAA Men's Tournament in Atlanta, GA showcased the University of Florida defending their title, defeating The Ohio State University to become the first back-to-back champions since Duke University in 1992. This also marked the second time that year University of Florida beat The Ohio State University for a national championship, following their BCS football title win in January. The tournament saw fewer upsets than usual, with only 12 lower-seeded teams winning. No team seeded 12 or lower advanced past the first round, and No. 7-seed University of Nevada-Las Vegas was the lowest seed to reach the Sweet Sixteen.
