Thanks to the generosity of one of our supporters, a few of our kids had the opportunity for an unforgettable day of hunting at Eden Hall Plantation! The day was filled with firsts and fun, beginning with target practice. ?? Two of our kids shot their first deer, while the others had a blast spotting young bucks and hitting the bullseye like pros! ?? We were grateful to hear from Pastor Dustin Dozier during our recent all-staff devotion! Dustin serves as one of the Teaching Pastors at First Baptist Simpsonville Upstate Church and leads the Upstate Church Five Forks Campus. He encouraged our staff to be still and rest. He said resting shows our dependency on God rather than ourselves. Hearing from Dustin as we began our week together in worship was a blessing. #ConnieMaxwell #ForTheDreamsOfChildren

On Friday, Nov. 15, Connie Maxwell announced the historic "For The Dreams of Children" Campaign launch, part of a 10-year strategic vision to lead in healing and ministry for vulnerable children and families. There were several significant announcements throughout the evening that will allow CMCM to continue helping to change the lives of those in need throughout South Carolina: - Larry and Jerry Anne Faulkenberry announced a $2 million gift to support the creation of this transformational facility. A 25,000-square-foot Healing and Trauma Center will be established to address trauma through research, education, and care. - Mike and Suzie Kocak’s generous $2 million donation will fund The Kocak Campus in Charleston, Connie Maxwell’s first expansion outside Greenwood. - Plans for a 3,000-seat amphitheater at Maxwell Farms and renovations to historic buildings were also announced. - Connie Maxwell also honored Ruth Graham. She received the inaugural Aspen Award, recognizing her lifelong dedication to healing and ministry. This event showcased Connie Maxwell’s commitment to transforming lives and creating a brighter future for children and families.
