Our first-ever East Bay, Danville breakfast in collaboration with Points of Light - Oakland was sold-out and a great success! Thank you to all who attended and volunteered. Promod Haque’s talk on how he applies faith in his work provided a practical blueprint for curious college students and was an essential reminder to seasoned working professionals. One particular college student was inspired by what it means to be a leader and why we should be generous. ?Leadership - Can I be trusted? Do I care about my employees? Am I committed to excellence? ?Generosity - Those who work deserve their pay. 1 Timothy 5 Honor the Lord from your wealth And from the first of all your produce Proverbs 3:9 We loved supporting a beautiful, local restaurant, Aracely Lounge, owned and operated by Linda Edson, who served a decadent breakfast and far exceeded our expectations! It truly was a joyful evening. ??We learned so much from our guest speaker, Holly Liu Co-founder of the gaming unicorn, Kabam about her faith and career journey and we’re thankful that she shared an abundance of wisdom to glean from. ?? One of the many takeaways is that while success is worth achieving and possible to attain, it is fleeting and when all is said and done, the things that matter most were always there to begin with. Dr. John Jackson, President of Jessup, delivered a powerful message on the immense opportunity for the?body of Christ to transform the world?through innovation and entrepreneurship. One of the standout moments came from Neil Ahlsten of 1Flourish Capital, who shared this thought-provoking perspective as part of a panel of investors: "If we truly believe that God is omniscient, all-powerful, and the source of wisdom—if we acknowledge that there exists wisdom greater than us—then why wouldn’t we start there?
