关于我们
The Connecticut Center For Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CCEI), established in 2007, is the first organized center to support entrepreneurship activity at the University of Connecticut. CCEI supports students, staff, faculty, alumni, and veterans as they are innovating and creating solutions to some of the world's greatest problems. We work to connect students with opportunities to learn and engage in entrepreneurship, and know these transformative experiences are a catalyst in building a future they dream of. For alumni, CCEI continues to support their passions and goals no matter where their journey takes them. With two offices located on the Storrs and Hartford campuses, CCEI carries the legacy of the inaugural entrepreneurship education initiative at the University of Connecticut, and has transformed entrepreneurship programming to support new venture development. Entrepreneurship. Starts. Here.

This past weekend, members of our team attended the 2024 Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers - GCEC conference hosted at Babson College — and what an incredible experience it was! ???? Connecting with hundreds of entrepreneurship centers from around the globe, we had the chance to exchange ideas, learn about strategies, and gain fresh perspectives to implement within our own center. Conferences like GCEC are valuable opportunities to not only grow our network, but strengthen our mission. We were proud to contribute to the conference programming by hosting two insightful workshops (shoutout to Michaela Hartl, Rachel Ayers, Rory McGloin, and Jennifer Mathieu!), which were met with enthusiasm and sparked engaging discussions. ?? We were also once again recognized as a “Gold” Leadership Circle school. We’re already looking forward to next year, and can’t wait to see how these connections and lessons will shape the future of our work! #GCEC2024 | University of Connecticut
