For Andi and her daughter Kasey, a routine heart screening took an unexpected turn. After attending the Check Your Beat heart screening event at our Westport location, Kasey’s EKG returned an abnormal result. Despite undergoing two open-heart surgeries within his first 10 months ??, Joseph's indomitable spirit remained unwavering, thanks to our phenomenal ICU team. ?? While Katie had experienced pregnancy before, Joseph's birth was particularly memorable. She was navigating the challenges of a newborn fighting for survival, all while her oldest daughter was preparing to head off to college.
