Katie’s leadership and commitment have been instrumental in driving our mission to create stable, connected, and empowered communities. With nearly fifteen years of experience in resident services, she has helped shape impactful initiatives that reach thousands of families across the country. In her new role, Katie will oversee national operations, leading a growing team of seven Team Leads who are supporting over 30,000 families across 17 states and the District of Columbia. We are proud to partner with Community Caring Clinic to provide essential mental health education workshops to residents at Smith House, Quincy Commons, New Academy Estate, Haynes House, Grand Families, and Bartlett A. Over 156 senior residents have benefited from monthly workshops in five communities. The Grievance Café offers open dialogue and support, while 1:1 follow-ups and referrals ensure continued care. This collaboration expands access to cost-effective, high-quality behavioral health services for Greater Boston communities, ensuring everyone has the support they need. Last Saturday, Senior Community Coordinator Jayme Bonds and Team Development Manager Deborah Ala represented Connected Communities at the annual The BASE College & Career Fair! Joining them was Jean Marius, Property Manager at Washington Columbia in Dorchester, proudly representing WinnCompanies. The BASE is an incredible organization that leverages the power of sports to create a success-driven culture for urban youth. Beyond sports training and competition, they also offer programs that focus on college access, career development, and health & wellness.
