2 days until Confluence and we're "gearing up" for a great weekend ?? Don't miss our Robotics Expo & Parade that features top middle and high school robotics teams that will show off their skills in engineering and computer science. Teams are coming from Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Allendale, Berrien Springs and beyond. Between demos, students will participate in a robot street parade that will circulate throughout the festival. There's also an arts & crafts area where you can create a robot wrap and see it come to life on a real robot! Advanced manufacturers will be on hand to present demonstrations (play hockey with a robot) and highlight career opportunities with some of the most innovative companies in West Michigan. You can also battle against your friends in free play areas located just off the main stage. Competing on the collegiate side are University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University, Ferris State University, Central Michigan University, Davenport University, Oakland University and Chicago's Saint Xavier University. High school teams include Byron Center Public Schools, Detroit Catholic Central High School, East Kentwood, Grandville, Kelloggsville High School, Mona Shores High School, Muskegon Oakridge and West Catholic High School.
