?? Political Dialogue in Sudan: Exploring New Pathways to Peace????? The political dialogue in Sudan remains at a crossroads, with immense challenges but also opportunities for transformative change. To help navigate this complex landscape, Conflict Dynamics International has developed three process options, tackling key priorities: humanitarian aid, reaching ceasefire, and a civilian-led administration. Breakdown of Options: ?? ?Option A - Focuses on practical agreements for humanitarian access, a monitored ceasefire, and a transitional administration based on a consensus charter. ?? ?Option B - Simplifies humanitarian procedures, prioritizes civilian protection, and establishes a transitional government advised by eminent Sudanese figures. ??? Option C - Proposes a unified coalition of facilitators to address all three strands through an integrated approach, aiming for a new Sovereign Council and a roadmap for a civilian-led government. These process options are not prescriptive recommendations given the complexity of the situation in Sudan; rather, they are adaptable frameworks intended to stimulate discussion and foster political will and consensus among stakeholders with diverse political positions and interests.
