This past week, we had the pleasure of sharing the lesson of teamwork with Mrs. Smith’s class at Brookfield Elementary School in Brockton. Executive Director Rachel Calabrese read Sammy Starts Soccer and gifted each child a book with a personalized message. A heartfelt thank you to Barrett Distribution Centers, Inc. for sponsoring this initiative! Each month, we will share Sammy’s story and distribute books to children across Southeastern MA. Word of our mission to build confidence in kids through extracurricular activities is being spread throughout Southeastern MA and we have never seen demand like we have this year. It keeps us looking for alternative ways to fund kids who need it. Every time you see a fundraiser, event or a donor/ grant acknowledged... it is all because of this ONE MISSION.... building kids like Tessa. " this kiddo [is] moving up the ranks. As you can see she tested injured and all! First question to the doctor was can I keep going to taekwondo? 3 belts to go until black belt testing is on the table!!!
