We are delighted to introduce Antonio Zavettieri, Finance, Group Treasury, Head of Collateral Management at BancoBPM as speaker for the 8th Edition of our upcoming Collateral Management Optimisation Summit scheduled for 3rd - 4th April 2025 in London, United Kingdom. Antonio currently lead a team structured into two desks: Collateral Management Banking and Collateral Management Trading. They operate across various SFT markets, both cleared and bilateral, and oversee the allocation of collateral—primarily securities—for the Bank’s diverse needs. Additionally, Antonio is responsible for the ECMS project, collaborating with other departments such as IT, back office, and organization. Before the merger of Banco Popolare and Banca Popolare di Milano in 2017, Antonio served as Head of Collateral Management at BPM Group. Since 2012, Antonio has been involved in the implementation of EMIR regulation, with a focus on the Clearing Obligation, and led the Operational Task Force for this initiative. He also worked closely with the Legal Department on the negotiation of ISDA, ICMA, and ISLA master agreements with key counterparties.
