关于我们
The Conference on Crimes Against Women offers more than 200 workshops, case studies, and computer labs over 3-1/2 days of cutting-edge training taught by leading experts in their fields. Training is administered to members of law enforcement, prosecutors, advocates, and medical professionals from across the country focusing on domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking, campus safety, strangulation, cold cases, etc. Our long-term goal is to eliminate violence against women and children in every community. We will achieve this by arming police officers, prosecutors, and victim advocates with the information needed to identify, investigate, and prosecute difficult cases successfully. Each year, we are one step closer to creating national change to this global problem. We present a sophisticated, inspiring educational forum of best practices, victim-centered policies, promotion of multi-disciplinary dialogue, collaborative community models, and provide real-life tools and strategies to the many professionals to take back to their own communities. 2024 Conference on Crimes Against Women May 20-23, 2024 Dallas, TX Register here: https://conferencecaw.org/registration-2024/

Despite promises of abortion exemptions for rape, accessing them is nearly impossible in some states due to unclear laws, required law enforcement reporting, and limited provider availability. These barriers create further trauma for survivors, forcing them to navigate complex systems when they need care most. Advocates and medical professionals emphasize the urgent need for clearer policies that truly support survivors. Read more from NPR: https://n.pr/48quQK3
