AI isn’t just changing technology—it’s creating new ways for abuse to happen. Now, abusers can use AI to create false realities, manipulate emotions, and control victims like never before. In our latest podcast, Sloan Thompson and Dr. Saed Hill from ENDTab explain how AI chatbots, deepfakes, and digital impersonations are turning human connection into a tool for control. The Conference on Crimes Against Women offers more than 200 workshops, case studies, and computer labs over 3-1/2 days of cutting-edge training taught by leading experts in their fields. Training is administered to members of law enforcement, prosecutors, advocates, and medical professionals from across the country focusing on domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking, campus safety, strangulation, cold cases, etc. Our long-term goal is to eliminate violence against women and children in every community. We will achieve this by arming police officers, prosecutors, and victim advocates with the information needed to identify, investigate, and prosecute difficult cases successfully. Each year, we are one step closer to creating national change to this global problem. We present a sophisticated, inspiring educational forum of best practices, victim-centered policies, promotion of multi-disciplinary dialogue, collaborative community models, and provide real-life tools and strategies to the many professionals to take back to their own communities. 2024 Conference on Crimes Against Women May 20-23, 2024 Dallas, TX Register here: https://conferencecaw.org/registration-2024/

Her boyfriend, who was the last to see her alive, was charged with second-degree murder and evidence tampering. The jury found him not guilty. Join us at #CCAW25 for a powerful workshop on State v. Clark, where Shawn Jensvold and Lauren Deakin will break down the investigation, trial challenges, and lessons learned in domestic violence homicide cases. In South Korea, women are taking action against the rise of deepfake pornography, where AI-generated images are used to harass and exploit them. Despite new laws, many victims struggle for justice while perpetrators continue to evade consequences. The issue reflects a deeper culture of misogyny, where online abuse is often dismissed, and authorities fail to act fast enough. Women are now deleting social media accounts to protect themselves, but experts argue that real change requires not just better laws, but a shift in societal attitudes.
