Role Description: We are currently seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team in Nacogdoches, TX. In this pivotal role, the Diagnostic Radiologist will be responsible for conducting and interpreting a variety of imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnostic radiology procedures and demonstrate a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities: - Interpret a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including but not limited to X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and mammograms. - Collaborate closely with other physicians and medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. -Required to perform Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Myelograms, Lumbar Punctures and Arthrograms. The Radiologist will also perform biopsies of the Breast, Liver and Lungs. Wire locs, Thyroid Fine Needle Aspirations and HSG’s are occasional but not required. - Utilize advanced medical imaging software and technology to facilitate accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. - Uphold a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and safety at all times. Qualifications: - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. - Successful completion of a recognized residency program in Diagnostic Radiology. - Board certification in Diagnostic or Interventional Radiology. - Possession of all necessary licenses and certifications to practice in the State of Texas. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and medical staff. Preferred: - Experience with a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures and equipment. - Proficiency in utilizing medical imaging software and technological tools. Additional Details: - This position is classified as 1099, offering a competitive daily rate along with compensation based on wRVU (work relative value units). Estimated earnings exceed $900,000 annually. - The work schedule is Monday to Friday 8 - 5 with no on-call requirements or weekend shifts. -The candidate will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and clinically lead the Radiology program at our Tenet-owned facility.
