#factfriday Myth: Providing housing encourages dependency. Fact: Research consistently shows that stable housing is a critical foundation for individuals to rebuild their lives and work towards self-sufficiency. Having a safe place to call home allows people to focus on addressing other challenges in their lives, such as finding employment, accessing healthcare, or pursuing education. Rather than encouraging dependence, providing housing to homeless individuals empowers them to regain stability, address underlying issues, and work towards self-sufficiency. #endinghomelessness #housingforall #housingisahumanright #permanentsupportivehousing #housingstability #cceh

?? Homelessness: A Visible Problem, Invisible Progress Homelessness is an issue we all see in our community—but the solutions often go unseen. Every person who finds stable, permanent housing is a success story that happens quietly, but it’s life-changing. Since January, CCEH has helped 29 individuals move from long-term homelessness into secure housing. Despite a historically low housing vacancy rate across the state, we’ve overcome incredible challenges to make this happen. But the journey doesn’t end at getting housed. Our team provides wraparound supportive services to help clients build the tools they need to stay housed and thrive. This week, we celebrated a major milestone as our 29th client of the year signed their lease. ?? This success wouldn’t be possible without the incredible dedication of our staff, clients, and YOU—our donors and supporters. ?? Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us make real, lasting change. You can be a part of the solution. Donate your time, talent, or treasure at ?? https://buff.ly/3YN2Hs0. Together, we can turn the invisible into visible progress. ?? #EndHomelessness #HousingFirst #CCEHImpact

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day: that's why CCEH provides very light breakfast fare like toast with peanut butter and jelly, butter, or cream cheese for folks that come into the Resource Center. ?? ?? ?? We are very low on peanut butter, jelly, butter, cream cheese, and packaged snacks (soft, easy-to-chew snacks). If you'd like to help our clients start their day with a light breakfast, please let us know. You can see the full list of our needed items on our website: https://buff.ly/4ffVfMV #breakfast #nonprofit #endhomelessness #homelessresources #fullbellyfullheart #snacks

Hearing our clients talking positively about the future gives us all the feels! ?? ?? Our Pleasant Street residents have been housed for over 90 days, which is a huge accomplishment for them and for our team of Housing Support Specialists. This work is challenging but together we are making a positive difference. #CCEHCommunity #endinghomelessness #permanentsupportivehousing #homeforall
