关于我们

Concepts in Millwork, Inc. fabricates and installs custom commercial architectural millwork. We have provided quality architectural millwork for over 30 years. Located in Colorado Springs, CO our products service not only Colorado, but are shipped all over the country. We have fabricated, delivered, and installed millwork to all types of projects including: retail spaces, medical office buildings, hospitals, education facilities, sports venues, hotels, airports, tenant finishes, design build projects, and government buildings. We regularly incorporate materials such as steel and stone into our millwork using trusted local fabricators that we’ve worked with for many years. Carrying a typical backlog of $4M to $5M does not impact our ability to provide you with the personal attention that you deserve, as we have the machinery, facilities and personnel to handle projects of varying sizes. We are open to new partnerships and will help you get your concept to reality by providing design input and budget pricing along the way to help you or your customer get the most for their dollar.

Celebrating Women in Construction at Concepts! Last week, we took time to recognize and honor the incredible women who contribute to our success in the custom millwork industry. At Concepts, we know that building something great takes skill, dedication, and—most importantly—strong teams that support one another. On Tuesday, we joined the National Association of Women in Construction team for a powerful session on Communication Mastery with Tammie Ross—a reminder that effective communication is a key tool in empowering women in our field. On Thursday, we gathered for a team-building lunch, where we reflected on how far we've come, welcomed new faces, and celebrated exciting new adventures for others. It was a moment to appreciate the progress we've made together and look ahead to a bright future. As Women in Construction Week passes, we remain committed to lifting each other up, breaking barriers, and showcasing the incredible talent that women bring to this industry. Here’s to building more than just spaces—here’s to building each other up! ?? #WICWeek #WomenInConstruction #NAWIC #CustomMillwork #Teamwork

  • Dani Hendrix is celebrating 5 years with Concepts in Millwork. Dani is CIMI’s Financial Controller and is responsible for maintaining the financial well being of the company. Dani has worked in the construction industry for 32 years and has spent 18 of them as a financial controller. During her career she earned her Bachelors degree in accounting. When asked what her favorite part about her job is, she said, “I love the profession that I chose in life. To be able to do it for a company that shares the same values makes it even more fun!” Her biggest lesson learned in the past five years is that having a cohesive team who works together toward a shared goal, creates a great working atmosphere and a successful business. Dani, we appreciate everything you do here at Concepts and Millwork. Here’s to many more years of working with you! • As we kick off 2025, we’re taking a moment to look back on a year filled with creativity, collaboration, and growth. Concepts was fortunate to work on stunning projects (Crocs, Compassion International, and Hotel Polaris at the U.S. Air Force Academy to name just a few), partner with amazing clients, and see our custom millwork designs transform spaces into something extraordinary. We are so grateful for our incredible team who bring their very best to work every day. Thank you for the time, dedication, creativity, and skill that you contribute to Concepts - we wouldn't be where we are without each of you. This year, we were reminded that exceptional design is about more than just the finished product—it’s about the trust and vision shared between our team and our clients. Thank you for being part of our journey and helping us make 2024 a year to remember. #happynewyear #2025 #gratitude #custommillwork #craftmanship

  • This year, Concepts decided to travel back in time for our annual holiday party—straight to the roaring 1920s! Amid the glitz, glamour, and timeless charm of the Jazz Age, our team gathered to celebrate a year of craftsmanship, creativity, and collaboration. From feathered headbands and pinstriped suits that would make Gatsby proud, it was a night to remember. Just as the 1920s were known for their innovation and bold ideas, we take pride in bringing those same qualities to every custom millwork project we create. Cheers to our talented team, and our amazing clients. Wishing you all a holiday season full of joy, laughter, and a touch of vintage flair. #companyparty #1920s #vintage #happyholidays #holidayparty

Ray Citron is celebrating 30 years with Concepts in Millwork. After serving in the armed forces, Ray became a novice woodworker in a cabinet shop. He relocated to Colorado Springs and continued to pursue woodworking, joining the CIMI team. While at Concepts, he went back to school to earn his degree in computer science and is now the custom millwork programmer for the company. Ray’s expertise has touched nearly every project in CIMI’s portfolio. His favorite part of his craft is the mechanics involved in producing the completed products. Some of his favorite projects he’s worked on include the Pentagon, Act 3 Theaters, and NORAD. Ray’s advice to someone starting in the industry is, “this industry has many different aspects, find your niche and take pride in it.” Ray, it has been a pleasure working with you for the last 30 years. Thank you for your hard work, insight, expertise, and dedication to the company. We appreciate you! #workanniversary #thirtyyears #programmer #custommillwork #craftsman
