CoDesign Employee Spotlight ?? / Lead Project Designer- Laura Mangrum Q: What’s your role at CoDesign? A: I’m a lead project designer, and I get to solve problems and craft designs that make a positive impact for our clients. Plus, I absolutely love collaborating with my talented teammates and soaking up all the wisdom they share!?We may be a small group, but we are mighty! Every day, I’m grateful for the inspiration I get from Melanie, Kaitlyn, Kate, and Bella—they truly make work feel like fun! Q: What motivates you as a designer? A: I’m all about creative problem-solving! Each project has its own unique story, and I love uncovering that while creating positive experiences for our clients. Seeing our teamwork come to life is the best reward. Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work? A: When I’m not at work, you’ll find me tending to my garden or going on adventures with my dog, Clark, and my husband, Erik. Oh, and I’m a total puzzle nerd—hand me a puzzle, and watch me go! Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be? A: Teleportation, for sure! Imagine being able to zap over to the beach whenever I want—pure bliss. Q: What’s one surprising thing about you? A: I’m a huge college football fan! Whether it’s cheering on my team or debating plays with friends, I’m all in! We took a site tour of the Princeton NJ community when we kicked off the interior design of The Alice. We were deeply inspired by this amazing Louise Nevelson sculpture on Princeton University campus. That sculpture influenced our interior millwork design, the brand graphics and marketing collateral. Taking the time to explore and look for meaningful inspiration PAYS OFF!
