Powering NYC, Westchester, and leading the clean energy transition.
关于我们
We provide power to more than 10 million people and businesses across NYC and Westchester. Reliability and accessibility are central to what we do and how we provide energy service. Leading the industry to power tomorrow is our other focus- we are committed to aggressively transitioning away from fossil fuels to a net-zero economy by?2050. To help achieve this we collaborate with customers, regulators, policymakers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure our clean energy future is informed by principles of affordability, equity, and environmental justice. We’re also heavily investing in new technologies and the infrastructure that can get us there. What are a few things we have achieved so far? ? Since 2009, our energy efficiency programs have prevented 11 million metric tons of carbon emissions – the same amount it would take to power 1.4 million homes for a year ? Recently, we’ve embarked on an 8-year project to make our systems more resilient in the face of extreme weather events

A $9 million investment is set to launch Brooklyn's first electric school bus fleet in partnership with First Student. This initiative will replace diesel buses with 12 electric models, improving air quality and reducing noise for students. Four buses are already operational, with the full fleet expected by next school year. The project aligns with New York’s clean energy goals and showcases sustainable transportation solutions in urban areas. These electric buses offer significant fuel efficiency and will be charged using solar power, creating a cleaner, safer environment for children and the community. We’re making it easier for New Yorkers without access to a home charger to charge their electric vehicles at the curb, all while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In partnership with the City of New York and FLO EV Charging, one of North America’s largest electric vehicle charging networks, we are installing over 100 charging stations across the five boroughs. This initiative will empower New Yorkers to explore and enjoy the city they love with peace of mind. Learn more: https://spr.ly/6047UPqCX #NYCEV #ConEdisonEVChargers
