Provides opportunities for advancement of minorities in the region’s transportation industry
关于我们
Since 1981, COMTO Philadelphia Chapter was created to provide opportunities for the advancement of minorities in the region’s transportation industry. COMTO is a nonprofit, nonpartisan association of individuals, students, transportation agencies, private sector corporations, not for profit organizations, and historically underutilized business. We have over 30 chapters across the Unites States and Internationally. Our mission is to ensure opportunities and maximum participation in the transportation industry for minority individuals, groups, veterans, people with disabilities and certified MWDBE businesses through leadership training, professional development, scholarship and internship funding, political advocacy, partnership building and networking opportunities.

?? Executive Leader & Engineer ??? | Orchestrating Seamless Facilities Operations & Negotiating High-Stakes Contracts in Aviation & Construction ???? | Pioneering Leadership & Inclusive Advocacy ??
Our transportation industry advocacy, education, and investment is always impactful, and we will continue to be a voice for equity. Thank you, COMTO Philadelphia Chapter, for the opportunity to serve.
Dear COMTO Family,? ? As the nation reflects on the results of this election, we are reminded of the significant role we all play in shaping an equitable and connected future. COMTO remains committed to ensuring that transportation serves everyone, regardless of background or community. We advocate for workforce development programs to ensure a highly skilled workforce, we educate elected officials on how critical it is to support small, minority- and women-owned businesses, and we invest in our young people. COMTO’S mission to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in the transportation industry has never been more relevant or necessary.??? This week, as we celebrate COMTO Week, there is no better time to recommit to our purpose and support our shared goals. Together, we continue to advocate for policies and projects that positively impact the communities we serve and uplift voices that have been historically underrepresented. Let’s use this time to reconnect, reflect on our achievements, and look forward to the future we are building together. By empowering our members, we strengthen our industry and create lasting change that ensures transportation is fair, accessible, and inclusive for all. Thank you for being an integral part of COMTO’S mission. Here’s to our continued efforts and to the impact we are making across the nation!? ? With appreciation,?? The Conference of Minority Transportation Officials
