UR2PhD is now accepting applications for the Spring 2025 Undergraduate Research Methods Course: https://lnkd.in/gcS-VYCx
One of UR2PhD’s goals is to encourage students to continue with research beyond the undergraduate research methods course. UR2PhD supported Katherine Gash (University of North Texas) and her team with travel funding to present their research at the 2024 VL/HCC conference. Reflecting on her experience, Gash says “It was an amazing experience! Seeing the work done by fellow researchers was eye-opening. Our presentation was both nerve-wracking and thrilling. It was extremely satisfying as a whole to have our work validated in such a way.” UR2PhD hopes to continue to provide students with opportunities to travel to showcase their findings. To apply for funding, past participants can complete this form: https://lnkd.in/g2MCqiyk Haven’t participated in the UR2PhD undergraduate research methods course?
