Join the Computer Engineers of the Next Generation (CENG) FREE Virtual Hackathon and Spring Coding Classes! Get ready to explore the exciting world of coding! During the hackathon, participants will team up (3–5 per group) to create projects using Scratch, JavaScript, or Python. The event is packed with engaging workshops, fun games, and countless opportunities to learn and grow, whether you're a beginner or an experienced coder. Dates: Saturday, March 1, and Sunday, March 2, 2025 Time: 1:00–5:00 PM Pacific Time both days Who Can Participate: Students in grades 3–8 – no prior coding experience required! The Computer Engineers of the Next Generation Team is excited to offer a new session of online coding classes from December 2024 to January 2025, held daily from 4:15 to 5:45 pm Pacific Time. Sessions will cover C, Scratch, JavaScript, Python, and Roblox (Saturday sessions only). In our 6-week-long classes ranging from Scratch and JavaScript to Python and Roblox, students will learn the fundamentals of coding and apply their knowledge to create a final game project. On the final day of classes, students will have the opportunity to show off their projects in a parent showcase.
