The CREF team is proud that our Compost Operations Training Course (COTC) has become so renowned among the composting community. We've worked hard to make it the ultimate education experience for composting professionals looking to expand their knowledge and careers. When we hear from attendees (and course instructors) how meaningful the COTC is, we know that our work has a real impact on our industry and the sustainable organics recycling goals we all work to achieve. Here at CREF, we're proud to educate about and promote our favorite way to recycle-- composting! Like recycling glass or paper, recycling organics through composting helps keep materials out of landfills and reduce pollution. But in its fully-recycled form, finished compost creates additional benefits including carbon sequestration in our soils, improved plant health, reduced soil erosion, and cleaner water. That's all the goodness of recycling your cans, plus a whole lot more.
