Comporium Selects Karl Skroban to Lead the Company’s Marketing, Media Services, and Video Strategy Teams: We're pleased to announce that Karl Skroban has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Marketing, Media Services, and Video Strategy. In this role, Skroban is responsible for the development and implementation of Comporium’s overall marketing strategy. The company’s Media Services group, which provides the company’s digital marketing services for business customers, and DashHound, the company’s agency-focused service, will now report to Skroban as well. Comporium Names Tim Smoak Interim Chief Operating Officer: Tim Smoak has been promoted and has assumed the role of Executive Vice President and interim Chief Operating Officer of Comporium. In his new role, Smoak will oversee the management of Comporium’s Operations workgroup throughout the enterprise. He will also ensure that Comporium has the proper resources, processes, and reporting methods in place to effectively meet the company’s customer service, revenue, and other operating goals in an increasingly competitive market. Thank you to the Comporium Pioneers for preparing flood buckets for Brevard. Supplies were donated by Pioneers and Comporium employees and the first buckets were delivered today with more to come. This is just one example of the many ways we work together across our organization, including teams from the Rock Hill area that have been dispatched to harder-hit locations in Spartanburg and Transylvania counties. No matter where we work, our common goal is to restore services to our customers as quickly as possible in the wake of Hurricane Helene.

Over the last ten days, our employees have put forth tireless efforts to restore services to thousands of customers across the Carolinas following Hurricane Helene. There aren't enough ways to say "thank you" to our crews in the field and those who support them behind the scenes. We also appreciate the kind words many of our customers have shared and we assure you that we'll continue working until everyone's service is back up and running. Our Brevard workgroup dealt with additional challenges. We live in the communities we serve, and our employees in Transylvania County faced the fury of the storm as it tore through Western North Carolina. To ensure that critical needs were met in the immediate aftermath of Helene, our Supply Chain group made two deliveries of water, non-perishable food, and other supplies from Rock Hill to our Brevard office. Providing these essential items to our employees was a way to show support and solidarity. It also eliminated one worry so they could focus on the task at hand: reconnecting our customers to friends, family, and the world.

National Intern Day was founded in 2017 and is held on the third Thursday each July. On Thursday, July 25, Comporium hosted an event for our interns celebrating their accomplishments over the summer. This year to celebrate, the interns rode on ATVs, went on a photo scavenger hunt, fished, enjoyed a round of skeet shooting and had a delicious hamburger and hot dog lunch. This summer, Comporium has 25 interns working in various departments such as Network, Facilities, Public Relations, IT, and Supply Chain, just to name a few. Comporium employees are volunteering at Hope In Lancaster Inc this afternoon, helping sort, organize and distribute groceries to those in need. Our volunteer PTO program helps us live out one of our core values: Take pride in our communities, giving back to enhance the quality of life in the areas we serve. #comporiumiscommunity

Congratulations to the 27 Comporium employees who completed five months of training as part of the Comporium Continuous Improvement Program (CCIP)! In addition to earning their Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts, participants worked on 14 team projects designed to either increase revenue, reduce costs or simplify processes to create more capacity. Thanks to the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership for their assistance with our Lean Six Sigma training. The CCIP is an ongoing effort to create a culture of process improvement, helping us serve our customers better and make the best business decisions possible.

We'd like to recognize three Comporium employees for completing leadership programs through our local Chambers of Commerce: * Susan Schapiro and Chrissy Steen--Leadership York County through the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce * Sam Prete--Leadership Lancaster through the Lancaster County SC Chamber of Commerce These programs help participants learn more about the counties they serve through interactive sessions and meetings with community leaders. Congratulations to all of the graduates of this year's programs!
