Anyone who has talked to me in the last six months has probably heard me mention a very big project at work, concerning some chimps. I'm elated to say that this video is now live on our channel! Working on this script has been an incredible experience, and I feel that I've grown as a researcher, writer, and storyteller through working on this piece. From interviewing researchers (including my former professor at ASU, Ian Gilby!) to trawling through fifty year old dissertations, this video has challenged me to think outside the box and find the deeper story that matters to everyone, not just to the scientists who documented and studied the events. The video wouldn't be half of what it is without the incredible work of the entire SciShow team and I'm so grateful to everyone who poured their hearts and souls into this.
