Through a vanpool partnership with Commute with Enterprise, launched in April 2023, they’ve prevented 2+ million miles and 1,100+ tons of CO? by eliminating single commutes from 132 staff through the formation of 22 vanpools. This vanpool commuting solution, subsidized by Commute Connector (a program of #FDOT), showcases their commitment to employee well-being. Kudos to Karen Anderson and Jenn Memoli for your dedication in supporting the program, coordinating with everyone, and making this achievement possible! ????

Today, as we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy of justice, equality, and safety, we wanted to highlight FDOT's #TargetZero initiative to reduce the number of transportation-related serious injuries and deaths across Florida to ZERO. Rooted in the belief that everyone has the right to move safely, and that system designers and policymakers share the responsibility to ensure safe systems for travel, Target Zero works to influence driver behaviors and improve our transportation systems to reduce crashes.
