关于我们
Guided by our vision of a world where all people have what they need to fully live into their potential, we partner with nonprofits and foundations to create strategies, implement them, engage stakeholders, and learn what works in pursuit of their missions. We work by their side with a spirit of intense partnership to co-create solutions. We’re relentlessly learning what it takes to make lasting change and creating resources so others can use those insights. We were created by the nonprofit Share Our Strength to lift up what’s working across the field. After partnering with more than 500 organizations over more than two decades, we know the work of social change isn’t easy, but we’re seeing partners make meaningful progress in tackling some of today’s most daunting challenges.

My heart is full. Spent the last few days in Tarrytown , working with a set of board members reimagining impact and what it could look like to galvanize key stakeholders from across the NY ecosystem to better address the pressing needs of today and tomorrow. I get to do some pretty dope work through Community Wealth Partners Couldn’t be more blessed in this moment, that my everyday work is about the everyday fight for equity, social change, and Dreaming forward.

Scenario planning helps organizations manage uncertainty, identify opportunities, and take informed action. By envisioning potential scenarios and planning accordingly, nonprofits can sustain their mission, strengthen impact, and adapt to changing environments. At Community Wealth Partners, we’re offering a virtual, eight-week scenario planning workshop designed to help nonprofits build practical plans to prepare during times of uncertainty. Journalism plays a vital role in our democracy, and Society of Professional Journalists' commitment to advancing media ethics, press freedom advocacy, and resources for professional development is more important than ever. We are proud to support Society of Professional Journalists as they set their strategic priorities for the next 2-3 years.?Guided by their leadership and insights from across the journalism ecosystem, we’re working together to identify priorities that will help address the challenges and uncover the opportunities in today’s media landscape. #journalism #philanthropy #strategy
ICYMI: I’m honored to be part of the Society of Professional Journalists Strategic Priorities Team, working to set the organization’s direction for the next 2–3 years. The journalism industry continues to face significant challenges: the erosion of public trust, newsroom closures, the rise of misinformation, and an ever-evolving digital landscape. At the same time, there are opportunities to strengthen our profession, from advancing media literacy to supporting the next generation of journalists. SPJ brings unique strengths to this work, including its long-standing leadership in media ethics, press freedom advocacy, and resources for professional development. With guidance from Community Wealth Partners, our team is analyzing SPJ’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities while gathering insights from across the journalism ecosystem. Our goal is to identify actionable priorities to guide SPJ in supporting journalists and defending a free press. ?? What do you see as the biggest challenges or opportunities for journalism today? ?? How can SPJ better support journalists and defend a free press? Let me know in the comments — I’d love to hear your ideas. #SPJ #Journalism #StrategicPlanning #MediaLeadership

Building For Mission we are grateful for your partnership and celebrate your commitment to centering community in your work! #communityengagement #sharingpower #leadershipdevelopment
As the year wraps up, we are celebrating and amplifying the work of some of our partners whose work is deeply rooted in their communities. Through a collaborative partnership with Community Wealth Partners (CWP), the BFM team had the opportunity to work with four BIPOC-led and community-rooted organizations. It was a pleasure learning more about the work and impact of Bishop Arts Theatre Center, Community Justice Project, Inc., Home Point (formerly The Housing Crisis Center), and Affirming Youth Foundation, Inc., many of which have served people in their communities for over a decade. BFM led projects in the areas of Talent and Leadership Development tailored to each leadership team. During this season, we honor the vision and daily commitment of those that work and lead on these teams; may you continue to grow your impact. Lasty, it's worth noting that we are very much aligned with CWP's commitment to BIPOC-led organizations and ensuring community-based organizations have the support they need. Check out their recent blog post below about effective community engagement strategies. #CommunityBased #CommunityEngagement #Community #Gratitude https://lnkd.in/eUPPWTbr

We stand with Independent Sector, Council on Foundations , and United Philanthropy Forum in opposition to H.R. 9495. We are champions of a vibrant nonprofit sector that helps create a world where everyone has what they need to thrive, in particular people kept furthest from power and resources. We are concerned this bill could pose a threat to the strength and vibrancy of the nonprofit sector. Read more about the bill and ways to take action below. #philanthropy #nonprofit https://lnkd.in/gsMQ4arD
Nonprofits are the backbone of our communities, tackling social issues, offering vital services, and promoting civic engagement. These organizations span sectors such as education, healthcare, environment, and human services, driving positive change and aiding those in need. By recognizing the multifaceted roles and impacts of nonprofits, we can more fully appreciate their contributions and bolster their efforts.
