关于我们
Community Resource Center (formerly Hispanic Resource Center) is a 501 (c)(3) community-based organization founded in 1998 to empower immigrant and low-income families by providing the resources and advocacy to help them become self-reliant and thriving members of the community. Over our 23 years in existence, we have grown from a community initiative and referral organization to one that provides comprehensive direct client services and programs. We provide a myriad of educational programs, case management and referral services and advocate for immigrants and low-income families in need. In the past year, we served nearly 4,000 adults, youth, and children in three primary areas: Case management / social services; Educational programs and workshops; and Worker Center -job placement for men and women seeking employment. Our vision is to help Westchester become a community that embraces diversity and provides opportunities for all of its residents.

A huge thank you to the women legislators of the Board for their Women’s History Month donation drive in support of survivors of domestic violence and homelessness. Legislators Shanae Williams, MBA, Erika Pierce, Nancy Barr, Catherine Parker, and Jewel Williams Johnson, along with their colleagues, delivered essential hygiene products, clothing, and gift cards to the Community Resource Center in Mamaroneck. These generous donations will help CRC’s case management team continue their critical work assisting vulnerable women across Westchester County. The visit concluded with a tour of our new Center, where the legislators saw firsthand the progress being made to expand our services. This initiative reflects our shared commitment to uplifting women and families throughout our community. Thank you for your support! #womensupportingwomen

Yesterday, our organizers were in Albany, making sure our voices were heard loud and clear! Our community is speaking out: A $165M investment in immigration legal services is critical to protecting all New Yorkers. Access to legal representation should be a fundamental right—because justice should never depend on income. Let’s keep pushing for a future where every New Yorker has the support they deserve! #CARE4IF

What Does Advocacy Look Like for CRC? Advocacy at CRC means amplifying the voices of our community, fighting for immigrant rights, and pushing for policies that create real change. Recently, we took action by joining a Lobby Day in Albany, where our team and community members met with lawmakers to advocate for crucial policies that support immigrant and worker rights. These moments are powerful—real stories, actual demands, and real impact. ?? Watch the video to see how CRC is making a difference in Albany! Together, we can drive change!
