Our Dallas team ditched the office for hard hats this week, trading storytelling for screwdrivers and hammers as they volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Collin County. It was an inspiring day filled with teamwork and purpose. Everyone came together to build a brighter future for families in need. We hammered away, shared some laughs, and witnessed the incredible impact of our combined efforts. Thank you to the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association for hosting the Career & Trade Show in San Marcos. Community Impact was a bronze sponsor at the 2024 TIPA Career Fair and Trade Show last week. We had the chance to connect with aspiring journalism students who are the future of the industry. The energy from these students was incredible! They were eager to learn about Community Impact and how we deliver trusted news and local information. We shared our passion for journalism and even had our Austin Managing Editor, Darcy Sprague discuss the importance of local journalism and the key role data journalism can play in covering complex topics.
