As the great Maya Angelou once said, “Each time a woman stands up for herself without knowing it, possibly without claiming it, she stands up for all women.” On March 8, we celebrate women all over the world, and the progress they have made in both our local and global communities. Women truly have unlimited potential which is realized every time they support one another and band together as one. Happy #InternationalWomensDay to all the women and young girls. May we all continue to blossom into fearless, confident voices that promote a better future for all.

Today C&C + some family and friends volunteered with Open Hand Atlanta to prep and package meals to be delivered to those facing food scarcity. Together we packaged over 2,800 meals and had a wonderful time doing it! Helping to spread goodness and positivity to our community through local philanthropy is a really big part of our “why”, so we were thrilled to have such an amazing team turn out!

We had a lovely evening at the Keller Williams Intown Awards Ceremony! One of the best things about our market center is the culture they create for agents through education and networking opportunities. The KWIT leadership always goes above and beyond to make the agent experience exceptional! C&C walked away with an award, and a couple of our agents did too! Celebrating another successful year while networking with other amazing peers was such fun.

Did you know black home ownership is at the same level as it was in the 60s? Black home ownership in America has hovered around the 46% mark over the last several decades. This is due in part to some unsavory practices in the past that prevented the step up basis that many families need in order to grow generational wealth. This month especially, but also every single day, C&C is committed to helping bring awareness to the lack of home ownership in many minority and socioeconomically challenged communities. And we hope to serve these communities as we strive to pave a new path towards black and minority ownership, creating a new black history. As we step into February, let’s celebrate and learn about black history.
