At Community West Foundation, our mission is focused on making a tangible difference. Every meal served, pair of socks provided, person housed, and health service delivered reflects our commitment to compassion. We believe in the importance of neighbors supporting each other, especially in challenging times, because we all share a common community.

We are honored to partner with WKYC Studios and Shoes and Clothes for Kids to support the incredible students at Natividad Pagan International Newcomers Academy. These young learners, many of whom are adapting to life in a new country, often come from warmer climates and may not have the winter clothing they need. We fulfill that promise by financially supporting local nonprofits that share our vision for a healthier society. Through our unique structure of grantees, agency partners, and individual donors, we turn dollars into dignity.

Socks+ is making a real impact by providing warmth and dignity to unhoused individuals in our community. Building Hope in the City goes above and beyond to serve Cleveland’s refugee and immigrant communities. We’re grateful for their work in both supporting these populations and transforming the Clark-Fulton and Stockyards neighborhoods through housing and community development programs.

The Matthew 25 Collection is a bronze sculpture series from artist Timothy Schmalz that shines a light on injustices such as poverty and displacement. After Rome, Italy, Cleveland is only the second city in the world to have the full collection on display. A heartfelt thank you to Bill and Jill Oatey for their incredible generosity toward the 2023 and 2024 Caring Continues Basket Raffle Campaigns. Their support, along with proceeds from the raffle, will help provide much-needed financial assistance to cancer patients receiving treatment at the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center at Fairview Hospital, Moll Pavilion. Today we’re grateful for Avon/Avon Lake Community Resource Services, one of our many grantees working tirelessly to support community members in need. The organization provides food, financial assistance, job training, and much more for those facing poverty in the region, and they do so with compassion and confidentiality.
