关于我们
The most comprehensive learning platform for community builders. Community building is an exciting and rapidly evolving field that, while becoming more mature and accepted as a valued business practice, has long experienced a skills gap for professionals tasked with launching and maintaining communities. This is due, in part, to a general lack of formal learning programs aimed at addressing this audience and their needs. Students enrolled in Community Strategy Academy will level up by exploring a broad range of strategic community building approaches, understand the connection between their work and business outcomes, and learn powerful new skills that will serve them for years to come. Whether you enroll in a single course or many, you will walk away with new perspective, tangible skills, and guidance that you can immediately deploy in your community building journey. Business impact will quickly follow.

Community ?? Product Many organizations are missing a massive opportunity to promote their communities and the super-helpful content within them inside of their products. Software companies, in particular, are in an incredible position to leverage community to drive experience and value for customers. In this free preview lesson from our Acquisition & Conversion Programs course, Brian Oblinger explains how and shows a real-world example. Get the full course here: https://lnkd.in/gPDjsDPd

Promote or fail ??? If you don't tell anyone about the community, it will fail. If you stop telling people about your community, it will fail. If you don't evolve your promotional tactics, it will fail. Don't fail. Promote it. Get the course here: https://lnkd.in/gPDjsDPd

Select the correct operational metrics ?? Most people don't build communities for a living and don't know what constitutes success. The default is to set goals based on elusive ideas like "engagement" or largely unimportant stats like "cumulative registered members." In this preview lesson from our Community Measurement Fundamentals course, Brian Oblinger walks you through the kinds of operational metrics you may want to track and how to quickly build an understanding of why they matter internally. Show the before and after ???? A common mistake community pros make is to not start measuring until community launches, and then never revisit to show the impact of their work in the larger context. Build a narrative around the data that describes a) the problem to be solved, b) when community launched/change was made, and c) what happened afterward. The numbers have changed, but the story is true — Brian Oblinger used the below chart to illustrate to stakeholders the impact that community was having on support case volumes, even in the face of explosive customer growth. Tell your story ?? Breaking into community building? Think your previous experiences don't have anything to do with community? Think again. In this preview lesson from our Starting A Career In Community course, Brian walks you through how to weave a narrative from where you've been to where you're going. Your skills are worth a lot more than you think. Get the course for free: https://lnkd.in/g8DVk6s6

No one was born a Community Professional ?????? In fact, almost no one has formal education in community building. Most of us come to community with experience in adjacent or completely separate industries. It's beautiful. If you're making the switch, you may be wondering how to frame your existing experiences in a way that will make you attractive for community roles? It turns out that your skills are much more transferrable than you may think, it's just about telling the story correctly. Get the course for free here: https://lnkd.in/g8DVk6s6

Maturity drives priority ???? Not all communities are created equal. And not all day-to-day schedules look the same. But there are key tasks to be completed to ensure your community is humming along efficiently. In this preview lesson from Tiffany Oda's Community Operations Fundamentals course, she walks you through the types of activities you should be focused on from an operational perspective at various phases of the maturity curve. Build a well-oiled machine ???? There's a lot more to running a thriving community than "engagement." Like any other major initiative in an organization, the *how* matters a lot. Tiffany Oda breaks down the operational component into six distinct categories of work: Process, Programs, Tech Stack, Reporting, Run the Biz, and Miscellaneous. The maturity of your community dictates which pieces and how deeply you need to engage on each. Check out the full course here for free: https://lnkd.in/gyyB4g4z
